Engineering data, in plain text.
Produce from €20.08/kg on the AMARU 7.
Indicative cost to produce one kilo of finished freeze-dried product. Adjust the inputs to your operation — every number recomputes live.
Excludes labour — cycles run largely unattended; hands-on handling is typically a few minutes per batch with trolleys/mechanisation. Add your own loaded rate if it’s material to your setup.
Yield and cycle-time figures are conservative engineering estimates based on typical product composition and verified machine specifications. Actual results depend on the specific material, recipe, preparation, load and ambient conditions, and may differ. These figures are for planning purposes only; Freeze-drying.tech accepts no responsibility for decisions made on their basis. Freeze-drying.tech can run a validation cycle of your product on the target machine to provide confirmed, measured yield and cycle-time figures.

Questions buyers ask.
The AMARU 7 freeze-dries up to 15 kg of fresh product per cycle across 7 trays (1.1 m² shelf area). It's engineered for small to medium food producers who want dependable, low-fuss output. Expect roughly 10–20% of fresh weight as finished product on high-moisture foods.
It runs a fully automatic cycle from a 4.3" touchscreen — load product, start, and the machine manages freezing, drying and defrost. It also stores up to 36 recipes in the main menu: each saves the proven cooling-time and drying-time values for a given product, named so any operator can repeat a result exactly. So you get push-button simplicity plus batch-to-batch repeatability, without needing a process technician. It's a time-based automatic cycle rather than a programmable shelf-temperature profile — if you must hold a specific shelf temperature per product, compare the LIO Pro or Leosmak.
AMARU is the only machine in our range with a multi-language control panel: the touchscreen interface is available in multiple languages including Spanish and Portuguese, with more added on request. Every other freeze-dryer brand we carry ships an English-only control panel. For teams in Spain, Portugal, Latin America or any non-English-speaking operation, a native-language interface cuts training time and operator error where the people running the machine don't work in English — and is neutral where they do.
It uses a brand-new Pfeiffer oil-sealed rotary-vane pump — a quality German vacuum pump. Defrost is automatic and quick — it clears the chamber in roughly 20–25 minutes between batches, so turnaround is short and you get more cycles per week and better machine utilisation.
Ruby Red powder-coat as standard, or brushed stainless steel. If you want the same machine — same 36-recipe control and multi-language touchscreen — at a lower entry price and don't mind a refurbished pump and Light Ivory zinc-coated panels, look at the matching AMARU Lite version.
A 12-month warranty, extendable to 24 months (a warranty-extension accessory is stocked). Running cost is low — air-cooled, ~1.13 kWh/h average, with no chiller or water needed. Two honest limits: the AMARU has no on-board CSV data logging and no Wi-Fi/remote monitoring. If batch records or remote oversight are part of your QC, look at the Exeat LIO (USB CSV export) or Leosmak (Wi-Fi app); if you want simple, reliable, multi-language operation, AMARU is built for exactly that.
